The solar modules should be cleaned twice a month which will give you a 7% to 10% increase in efficiency. The best time to clean is at early morning with ambient temperature water when the modules’ temperatures will be low after cooling down overnight, after sunset or when solar generation has not started. If you plan to clean when there is sun in sky then it’s a bad idea! Because water can create technical issues with solar module and lead towards inefficient results.
