The School (Banasthali Public School) was established by the Anand Prakash Charitable and Educational Trust (Society) on 2nd Sept. 1972 in the profound memory of late Shri. Anand Prakash Ji. Late Ms. Indu Priya Darshani, was the founder of this institution.

The school is recognised by the Directorate of Education, Govt of Delhi and is affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education (C.B.S.E).

Project Description

For schools, solar system can easily offset monthly utility bills. In addition, solar energy in schools presents a great teaching opportunity that can enrich classroom content with real- world examples of the benefits of renewable energy.

Project Benefits & Impact

Electric prices have risen over the past ten years. Because they use a great deal of electricity, schools and universities have been some of the primary victims of these price hikes.

By installing solar system one can generate his own electricity with a much lower LCE.

Project Uniqueness

 

As part of the integration, 120 Poly crystalline solar panels of capacity 330Wp were installed, which provide 39.6 kilowatt (kW) of power. On the AC side we used a 40 kW Pro series solar inverter.

The system is mounted on the RCC roof of the school with elevated mounting structure with clearance height of 6 ft.The installation and workmanship was standard, executed by trained team of SolarSmiths.
