Sumanglam Footwear Pvt. Ltd. Is a leather footwear manufacturing company located in Jhajjar district of Haryana, India. It was established in 1995 by the wholetime director Mr. Rajee bansal.

Sumanglam is capable of handling Large Volumes of production. They have many manufacturing equipments imported from Italy, china and other countries which are best in technology.

With the warrantied lifetime of 25 years, it was not a re-considerable investment for Mr. Rajiv Bansal, director of Sumanglam footwear when  explained him the working and benefits of Solar PV system.

SolarSmiths installed a 50 kW plant on his factory. The roof was of zigzag canopy envelopes type. We installed the solar panels on south facing parts and due to a good elevation of shed the generation of solar energy is very good.

Project Benefits

There are many reasons why people go solar, but improving the environment and cutting energy costs are the most  common.  Many people are aware that solar is a great home efficiency upgrade and are eager to reduce their carbon footprint while also improving property value.

We used 320 W Poly crystalline solar modules and a solar inverter of 50 kW capacity. The location was not in the city and there were some issue of power cut too.

To cover this loss we gave them a solution of DG synchronization which helped them to extract the electricity generated from the installed grid connected solar system even when the power in grid is not available.
