He spends his time reading & identifying new business opportunities geared towards improving energy security and reliability. An Entrepreneur with keen mind for innovation, process development and customer satisfaction, Sishir sits on the board of SolarSmith Energy Pvt. Ltd. and Brij Encapsulants (India).

Sishir has been actively involved in research of renewable energy, and his work has been well- respected and published in leading solar journals, industry magazines and conference proceedings like InterSolar, EUPVSEC and REI.
