Project Description
SHI Mediwear, a leading manufacturer in the healthcare garment industry, wanted a sustainable and cost-effective energy solution to reduce its dependency on traditional power sources and lower operational costs. With growing electricity expenses and an increasing commitment to environmental responsibility, the management decided to switch to solar energy.
SolarSmith conducted a detailed site analysis at SHI Mediwear’s facility in Mundka Industrial Area and recommended a 70KW on-grid solar power system tailored to their energy consumption pattern. The installation was executed efficiently, ensuring optimal use of the available rooftop space while maintaining the aesthetics and safety standards of the industrial unit.
The solar system now generates an average of 280 units per day, meeting a significant portion of SHI Mediwear’s daily power requirements. The project has led to an estimated annual saving of ₹8–9 lakhs on electricity bills and a reduction of approximately 82 tons of CO₂ emissions per year, contributing positively to India’s clean energy goals.
